This is a tribute to man’s ingenuity, and the “make it work” philosophy of a previous generation. When my Father’s truck came up with a flat tire, he was too far from town to call a tow truck, even if he had considered that idea. In his day, you fixed your own flat tires. so he worked out a solution that would enable him to drive the truck with the repaired tire into town.
